When to visit:

Wyoming’s tourist season peaks in the summer, when throngs of eager outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen flock to the state’s wonderful parks and backcountry. Those visiting at the busiest times are encouraged to make reservations early. Off-season visitors will be happy to know that the parks are open year-round, but be warned, however, that winter season sees only limited service in most of the parks.
