Information on Snowy Range:
Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area is located 32 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, in the stunningly beautiful Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest. This ski area gets terrific snowfall and has a great atmosphere. Whether you're a novice or experienced skier or rider, Snowy Range is the place for you. The area has a myriad of trails with the longest stretching well over a mile long. Riders get ripped at Renegade Park and on the half-pipe. It's a real challenge. Snowboarding lessons are available for first-timers and accomplished riders of all ages. Cross-country trails are easy to access from Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area and are maintained by the U.S. Forest Service.
