Sparsely populated Wyoming is a vast, mountainous state that provides
visitors with almost unlimited options for outdoor adventures. There
are numerous mountain ranges, from the Grand Tetons to the Bighorn Mountains
to the Medicine Bow Mountains, each with hiking, camping and hunting
grounds. Most impressive of all is the magnificent Yellowstone National
Park, an enormous and volatile volcanic region chock-a-block with geysers
and unusual rock formations. The cities and towns in Wyoming are rife
with Wild West history and Native American culture; Buffalo Bill himself
founded Cody.
