Rippin’ it on Big Green.
Green Lake has been a Wisconsin vacation area for over almost 150 years thanks to the fishing, swimming and boating opportunities provided by “Big Green”, the deepest inland lake in the state, with depths of more than 200 feet. With almost twelve square miles of clean, clear water and some of the most scenic shoreline in the state of Wisconsin it’s no wonder it remains a popular and vibrant resort community with plenty to offer visitors looking for outdoor adventure.

Anglers will be busy at Green Lake thanks to the first rate Wisconsin fishing to be done there. Game species found in Green Lake include Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake trout, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge, White Bass, Cisco, Catfish, Crappie and Rock Bass.

There’s something to do in the Green Lake area all year long. In the summer camping, biking and hiking are popular activities. The winter season provides visitors with opportunities for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
