Trail Description:
In the summer, the east loop is an excellent nature trail. An interpretive booklet provides great information on where to see and hear wildlife along this trail. In the winter, the trail is a classic stype ski trail. The east loop is the only loop that can be hiked in the summer. Wetlands on the north and south loops prevent hiking. The winter trail system is groomed and track is set when snow conditions permit. the trail is fairly flat and suitable for beginner or novice skiers.

Trailhead Directions: From Cable, Drive 11 east on County Highway M to County Highway D. Turn left (north) on D and drive 5.5 miles to Forest Road 209. Turn left (west) and drive 0.5 miles to the trailhead which is on the right (north) side of the road.
