West Virginia cities aren’t
big and sophisticated, but neither are they without a certain
southern/Appalachian appeal. Huntington is a college town that
loves its football like it loves the air it breaths, Harpers Ferry
is a sleepy town amid gorgeous scenery and Charleston
is a historic and genteel capitol city.
Charleston:
The capitol of West Virginia
features the largest State Capitol Dome in the US, which is gilded
in 24-karat gold leaf.
Fayetteville:
Half the fun of visiting
Fayetteville is crossing the astounding bridge over the New River
Gorge.
Harpers Ferry:
For a peaceful, laid-back
atmosphere, this pretty little city is hard to beat.
Huntington: This is the home of Marshall
University and their beloved Thundering Herd football team.
