The Cacapon Lake is a beautiful lake. Both the Lake and the Reservoir are full of activities. It is the hot summer destination known for swimming and boating. The designated swimming area is a wide sandy beach were swimming is fun. The best part is the lifeguards are on duty throughout summer for your safety. Nothing can be so relaxing than being on the sand and let the soft sand touch your feet.

The float across the lake is where the row boats and paddle boats are rented for the tourists. People coming here love to do boating here. Near the swimming area on the beach there are tennis courts, paved basketball court or sand volleyball courts. So don't miss the opportunity and play your favorite game.
   
 
Fishing is another favorite activity on the lake but the hitch is one must not be below 15 and requires fishing license. Short term fishing license can be procured from the Lodge. This is not the end to fun, there is much more to this, other activities include hiking, golfing, horseback riding, nature and recreation programs.
