Hurricane Ridge is located 17 miles south of Port Angeles, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula in the Olympic National Park. Hurricane Ridge is the westernmost ski area in the continental United States, and is 1 of only 2 ski areas in the country that is located in a national park. This beautiful Washington skiing area gets an average of 5,000 visitors every year.

Winter season at Hurricane Ridge lasts from Mid-December through March. The Ridge is open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on some holidays. It receives an average annual snowfall of 400 inches. There are 10 excellent trails for skiers to choose from. Hurricane Ridge’s lowest base elevation is 4,800 feet, its highest is 5,500 feet, and the longest vertical drop there is 800 feet.

Hurricane Ridge operates a full-service ski & snowboard school that provides group and private lessons for skiers of all ages. Everyone from toddlers to senior citizens can learn to ski on Hurricane Ridge.
