Washington - Bluewood

Information on Bluewood:

Located in the Blue Mountains of southeastern Washington state, Bluewood is the state's secret powder stash.

The grooming is top notch and the tree skiing some of the best in the Northwest. Because Bluewood is located in a heavily timbered north-facing bowl, it gets good snow and holds it.

With the state's second highest base elevation of 4,545 feet, and a top elevation of 5,670 feet, the area gets an average of 300 inches of snowfall annually.

Bluewood has a run for everyone, regardless of skill level and desired challenge. There is tree skiing for the more adventurous and a half-pipe for snowboarders.
