The 130-mile lake at the heart of this recreation area
has made the landscape of east Washington much more tourist friendly.
The steep banks of the Columbia River now wind their way toward Lake
Roosevelt, filtering in and through the park.
The site offers a large array of water recreation, such as boating,
kayaking, canoeing, fishing and more. There are also many opportunities
for camping very close to the majestic lakeshores. |
