Billy Clapp Lake is located near Ephrata, Washington. This 1,010-acre impoundment is formed by Pinto Dam, which is part of the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project.

There are numerous ways to enjoy the great Washington outdoors at Billy Clapp Lake. Boating and water sports are popular lake activities; the Department of Wildlife provides public access and a boat ramp at the lake’s south end. Picnickers will find lots of good spots along the shore. Summer Falls State Park, located on the north end of the lake, is open for day use.

Anglers can enjoy some good Washington fishing at Billy Clapp Lake; the fishing season there is year-round. Game fish in the lake include yellow perch, crappie, rainbow trout, and walleye

The Billy Clapp Lake area includes a wildlife reserve program. There area hunting opportunities for visitors with the proper licenses. Unfortunately, there is no campground at Billy Clapp. Sorry campers!
