Big Walker Mountain Scenic Drive:
The 16-mile ride along Big Walker Mountain Scenic Byway affords awesome views of the Ridge and Valley landscape, colorful blooms in the spring, and great birds of prey circling the warm air currents rising from the valley. It stretches to 16 miles in length.
Mount Rogers Scenic Drive:
The Mount Rogers Scenic Byway travels through the Jefferson National Forest to the core of Mount Rogers Mountain Area where easy access to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and the Virginia Creeper National Recreational Trail offer the traveler ample opportunities for outdoor adventure.
