Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah Valley are bursting with things to do, including spelunking in the cavern and crossing the Natural Bridge a 215 ft.-high rock arch. Richmond and Norfolk are some of the state’s most historically rich cities, and that’s saying something for a state so rich in American history, from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War to today.
