Trail Description:

Ferrier Trail provides good views of Craig Creek Vallye and Potts Mountain. Lick Branch offers cool refreshing walk, except during dry periods. Sign marks intersection of Lick Brnch and Ferrier Trails. There are no facilities.

Hiking the Ferrier Trail:

Limited trailhead parking on FS 5026. Lick Branch Trail begins at sign on FS 182. Continue on this logging road to Lick Branch Crossing.

Trail descends in hardwood forest, through one wildlife clearing and past another one, widening into Ferrier Road approximately � mile before reaching FS 182.

Trailhead Directions:

From I81, take Exit 141 onto SR 419 North to SR311 North to New Castle. Turn right on SR615 (Main Street). At Court House, turn right on SR 616. Go to SR 690 and turn right to FS 182, take right fork (FS 5026) at end of FS 182.
