Abbey Pond Cascades is powered upstream by Abbey Pond. These Vermont waterfalls are a sequence of cascades and horsetails that drop some 80 feet to the water below.
Visitors will notice that the area is heavily shaded with little opportunity for a good photograph from the footbridge along the access trail travels over. For a good shot one should leave the trail and hike to the base of the entire falls. There one may be able to pull off a much better photograph. It’s just a pity that the gravel pits in the background detract from the beauty of this waterfall.
