Set on the highest peak in southern Vermont, Stratton Mountain offers an exhilarating skiing experience for beginner to expert with 92 trails and a 2,003-foot vertical drop. Stratton Mountain offers the best of both worlds as old-fashioned New England hospitality meets state of the art snowmaking and grooming. Located in the heart of Vermont's famed snowbelt, Stratton Mountain looks forward to plenty of natural snowfall each winter. Sixteen lifts, including four high-speed six-passenger lifts, and the enclosed 12-passenger summit gondola are strategically placed to get skiers where they want to be quickly and efficiently. The Stratton Nordic Center provides a change of pace with more than 35 km of tracked cross-country trails and 50 km of back country skiing. Moonlight tours, instruction and rentals are also available. Two comfortable and attractive base lodges (at the Main Mountain and Sun Bowl) offer a full range of skier services. Stratton's Mid-Mountain Lodge provides a perfect alternative for the skier who wants a quick lunch or a cup of cocoa right on the slopes. Stratton Mountain's famous Ski School offers a full range of proven instructional programs for skiers and snowboarders of every ability. Home of the first bona-fide ski school for children, Stratton offers full-day, instructional programs for Little Cubs (ages 4 to 6) and Big Cubs (ages 7 to 12). Certified day care for children age 6 weeks and older is available in the bright, new Child Care Center conveniently located in the Main Base Lodge. Stratton's five terrain parks hold a world-famous half-pipe and are the annual site for the U.S. Open Snowboard Championships. The Stratton Mountain Training Center offers programs for juniors and adults who are serious about their riding, with an emphasis on slalom, giant slalom and half-pipe.

From Boston Take I-90 west to I-91. Take I-91 north Route 30 north. Follow Route 30 North to Bondville (about 25 miles). In Bondville take the Stratton Mountain Road 4 miles to the Resort.
Alternate route to Stratton Mountain Resort:
From Hartford, CT and New York Take I-95 North to New Haven, CT (about 80 miles). Take I-91 North to Brattleboro, VT (Exit 2) (about 120 miles). Take Routes 30 North to Bondville (about 38 miles). In Bondville take the Stratton Mountain Road 4 miles to the Resort
