The Lamoille is ideal for trout fishing. There are clubs and associations
who pride themselves with knowing the best breeding grounds, the best
equipment and more. Besides the fish, there are some great stretches
of rapids for those adventurous enough to take them on. When waters
are at sufficient levels, they can get up to class three. This river
also opens up at times, spreading out along the marshes and creating
large, slower moving pools.
