Vermont rivers offer
a wide variety of outdoor adventure for visitors to the Green
Mountain State. The Batten Kill
River offers almost every type of river activity, with and
emphasis on fishing. The changeable Winooski
River is famous for its Vermont rafting opportunities. And
the many other rivers aren’t to shabby, either.
Batten Kill River:
Canoeing,
kayaking and fishing are popular on this Hudson tributary.
Lamoille
River:
For 1st rate Vermont trout fishing, it’s hard
to beat the La Moille.
Lemon
Fair River:
Vermont wildlife is common along the peaceful
Lemon Fair.
Winooski
River: This is a challenging rafting river with some dodgy
rocky bits.
