This small, grassroots resort is as quaint as it is interesting. Not
located in or near any “major ski towns,” it may seem out
of the way, but its regulars swear by it, dubbing Beaver Mountain Utah’s
best-kept secret.
For overnight accommodations, Beaver Mountain has a large, attractive
lodge and comfortable confines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, between
runs. Another option is the Yurt, which lies somewhere in the realm
between a tent and a cabin. Yurts here are sturdy and heated, and cleverly
positioned right next to the slopes.
So, if crowded streets and ski snobs aren’t your thing, Beaver
Mountain offers a gratifying alternative.
