The Utah Mountains are unlike any
other set of ranges in North America. Besides their great variety,
from the scenic and ski-slope laden Abajo
Mountains to the red rock canyons of the La
Sal Mountains, the mountain ranges of Utah have an unforgettable
majesty and unique appearance exemplified by the wondrous Monument
Valley.
Abajo Mountains:
The “Blues”
are a scenic range small in size but big in adventure, winter
sports opportunities and breathtaking scenery.
La
Sal Mountains:
This is the 2nd highest mountain range in Utah,
and offers hikers and backpackers wonderful views of the red rock
canyon country.
Pine
Valley Mountains: Theses mountains feature an excellent network
of more than 60 miles of well marked and maintained hiking and
horseback riding trails.
Monument Valley:
The incredible rock
formations found here have graced the silver screen in countless
westerns, but their awesome grandeur should be seen 1st hand.
