Utah’s Bridal Veil Falls is a stunning 607-foot tall double cataract waterfall located in the south end of Provo Canyon. At one time in 1967 an aerial tramway service to the top of the falls allowed a small, 6-passenger tramway to function as a recreational attraction (it was known as the WORLD'S STEEPEST AERIAL TRAMWAY, although that claim is difficult to prove), but an avalanche destroyed the tram in early 1996.
The falls were also a feature point along the route of the Heber Creeper tourist train, but the train discontinued its service past the falls, so train tracks in front of the falls were removed and converted into a recreational trail. The Bridal Veil Falls and the small Bridal Veil Park just to the west of the falls can be accessed via U.S. Highway 189.
