Deer Creek State Park and Reservoir are located southwest of Heber. The reservoir is about 6 miles long with a maximum surface area of 2,965 acres. Along the 18 miles of shoreline there are two campgrounds and some boat launch facilities.

The waters here provide some great year-round fishing. Fish species include rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass. Stream fishing occurs both above and below the reservoir in the Provo River.
   
 
The warm water and the canyon winds make Deer Creek extremely popular for boating, wind surfing, sunbathing, swimming and sailboating. The Park is open year-round and visitors enjoy watersports as per the season.

This Reservoir offers access to water sports and swimming. Facilities include a boat ramp, campground, modern bathrooms and showers, waste disposal, fish cleaning stations and a paved parking lot. Picnicking areas with a group-use pavilion, a restaurant, gasoline, boat rentals and utility hookups are available.

The beautiful shoreline of the lake has several wonderful swimming beaches. There is a restaurant, store and modern campground. There is also a resort and marina that rents watercraft. Amenities include the 35-unit campground with two group-use areas.

Located near to Midway in Utah the reservoir is a great place to spend some time relaxing and enjoying a break from routine. Located in an open setting of 7 miles at a 5,420-foot elevation you have here 2,680-acres of surface water. The recreation season is April through November and can get quite heavy. Some campsites accept reservations.
