Texas really is an all year tourist destination
thanks mostly to its sheer size and attendant diversity of climate.
No matter what the season there are places in Texas where the weather
permits easy travel and comfortable outdoor adventure.
That said, the two main tourist seasons are the months from late spring
to early fall and the winter season. Southerly locations see the most
traffic during these times, especially along the beautiful coasts of
the Gulf of Mexico. When school is out in the summer expect to see lots
of families. In winter those fleeing the snow come to whoop it up in
the tropical reaches of the Lone Star State.
