The Galleria located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas. It is one of the largest business and shopping districts in the United States. It is also the largest mall in Texas and 5th-largest in the United States. The Houston Galleria sees more 24 million visitors pass through its gates every year. The complex was the 1st mall to combine an indoor shopping center with hotels and/or office towers. The Galleria serves as the retail flagship for many retailers, and is the backbone for thousands of jobs and support-services in the Houston Metro Area.
The Galleria is home to several upscale designers and boutiques, and other upscale shopping centers are only a shore distance away. These Galleria Shopping District, officially known as the Uptown District. |
