This trail offers stream crossings, and wildflowers are abundant along the trail. The West Fork Trail leads hikers to the Big Frog Wilderness.
Hiking the
West Fork/ Benton McKaye Trail No. 303:
This is a dead end trail but, along the way, it intersects with Rough Creek Trail for loop hiking opportunities. Sight Information: Trail Number 303. The trail takes off to the south along the west fork of Rough Creek. Site Amenities: Parking area. Safety: Consider wearing hunter orange during hunting season. Requirements: Bicycles are allowed on the first 1.7 miles. Otherwise, only hiking is permitted.

Travel Information
Trailhead Directions: From the Ocoee Ranger Station turn left onto Highway 64. Travel about 10.9 miles to Ocoee Power House Number 3. Cross the bridge, follow Forest Service Road 45 about 2.9 miles to the intersection of Forest Service Road 221. Turn left and travel about 0.5 miles to trailhead on the right.
