South Dakota is just as full of real cowboys and Indian as you might expect, and there’s certainly no shortage of western themed history and outdoor adventure in this great state, but there’s more to South Dakota than its Wild West past. There are also first class amenities in small but lively cities and activities that have nothing to do with horses. And no visit to South Dakota would be complete without a trip to see the enormous busts of some of our greatest leaders at Mt. Rushmore (come for the presidents, stay for the light show).
