The Cascade Creek Falls Trail Cascade Creek Falls Trail is located near Flagg Ranch in Yellowstone National Park. It’s a peaceful, relaxing hike rather than an adventurous trek into the unknown; the trail is an easy, 4.2-mile round trip with no noticeable elevation gain. The fantastic scenery, however, makes up for the lack of thrills. The trailhead is at Bayview Campground. Visiting seasons last from May until September.

The Cascade Creek Falls Trail follows the creek down to the Falls River. The way is flanked by gorgeous 20 to 30 ft. high cascades on either side of the creek’s rushing waters. Visitors can spend hours exploring and taking photos of these interesting falls. The Cascade Creek Falls Trail eventually turns into the highly recommended Terraced Falls Trail. The only real drawback to this hike is the presence of swarms of summer mosquitoes, which can get thick enough to keep even the slowest hiker on the move.
