Fisherman’s Memorial State Park and Campground

Rhode Island Home | Rhode Island Sitemap
This park’s location makes it one of the most popular for those who want to take in all of Rhode Island’s compelling natural wonders. Its centrality and close proximity to Scarborough, Roger Wheeler, and Salty Brine State Beaches make it a nice middle ground while taking in the coastline. The campsite is also quite close to majestic Newport, covered elsewhere on this site. From there, you can take a quick jaunt into the bay and check out Block Island, a haven for rare birds and wildlife.

Tent sites and RV outlets are available here, as well as activities like basketball and tennis. Reserve a spot early if you plan on an extended stay.
