East Beach is a three-mile stretch
of white sand, operated by the state of Rhode Island. Beachfront
state parks are decidedly different from most, relying on the
sun and surf to be their biggest draws. There isn’t much
in regard to natural insight, besides the vast Atlantic and the
beautiful views that ensue here.
East Beach is well hid and enormously popular with local windsurfers.
Massive amounts of shore birds can be seen sweeping the dunes.
For overnight stay, try offshore motels and an adjacent campground.
