Information on Yawgoo Valley Ski Area:
Yawgoo Valley is located in southern Rhode Island and serves as a ski area in the winter and a water park in the summer. This cozy area has taught many locals to ski. The Yawgoo Valley Ski School is a member of the Eastern Professional Ski Instructors Association and has a staff of 70 ski professionals. Yawgoo Valley is one of two snow tubing parks in New England. Children ages 4 to 6 are permitted to ride with an adult in a sitting position; ages 6 to 12 may ride in their own tube, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Snowboarders are welcome and will enjoy a new snowboard park. The Base Lodge was recently remodeled and the rental shop has more than 400 sets of equipment for rental
