This is one of Rhode Island’s best, if not most popular, state
parks, citing a horde of oceanfront activity. It is immensely popular
with picnickers, sunbathers, golfers, and equestrians alike.
Regardless of your preference, anyone could enjoy the plethora of tree
species and the thick forest, back from the coastline. Taking them in
is easy as well, whether by horseback, hiking or mountain biking. Other
activities include a performing arts pavilion with shows in the summer,
bridle trails, frequent concerts, and more.
