Bald Eagle is a massive, well-favored
park and a favorite to those in central Pennsylvania. The north
central portion of the state, otherwise known as the Pennsylvania
Wilds, is full of comparable parks and expansive natural habitats,
since it has been well protected and unscathed.
Whether you want to rough it at a primitive campsite or relax
in one of the more modern facilities, it is hard not to enjoy
Bald Eagle. It is easy to see why the park has become so popular
amidst the rolling hills and vast, thick forests. The park boasts
excellent fishing, swimming, and general exploration. Interpretive
and educational programs are available, to ensure that the encompassing
lands do not go unappreciated. |
