Blue Mountain is the closest major ski area to Allentown, Pa., and Philadelphia. The mountain is open for night skiing on all trails and has 100 percent snowmaking capacity. With 30 slopes and the highest vertical in Pennsylvania at 1,082 feet, Blue Mountain's trails offer something for everyone; from lazy, easygoing, nonstop runs well over a mile long to the Challenge, with its two headwalls and electrifying drop. Razors Edge, the newest 3,000 foot double black diamond trail with it's automated snowmaking system, has proven to meet everyone's expectations.

Getting to Blue Mountain Ski Area:
From Philadelphia Take the Northeast Extensionof the PA Turnpike (I-476) north to Lehigh Valley Exit (56). After the Toll booth, bear right onto Route 22 East. Follow 22 East to Route 145 North. (MacArthur Road). Follow 145 North for about 9 miles to a traffic light at the far end of a long bridge. Turn right onto Blue Mountain Drive. Follow Blue Mountain drive straight through Danielsville to the entrance sign just past the top of the mountain.
