Lined with historic limekilns and various mills from the 19th century,
White Clay Creek is an interesting addition to Pennsylvania’s
nationally recognized natural attractions.
Flowing through the southeast portion of the state and onward into Delaware,
this creek is ideal for any water-based recreation you can think of.
The best attraction, however, is the river itself and the surrounding
wildlife. Now overtaking many of the man made establishments, kilns
and mills, the lush foliage and animal life is in abundance.
Stop by the state park known by the same name for overnight stay and
some comforts of civilization.
