Delaware National Scenic River

The Delaware remains one of the most splendid natural attractions in the eastern portion of the United States. Traversing two states, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it is located within the bounds of the nationally recognized “recreation area.”

The river has much to offer, including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and general exploration. It is one of the only major rivers in this portion of the country that has yet to be dammed. Henceforth, its life-giving flow is much the same as it was since its inception, sustaining the surrounding abundant wildlife.
