Oswald West State Park in Oregon is one of the most scenic in
the State Park system. There are several different trails to the
beach, many of which lead visitors to the Cape Falcon overlook
or to the Pacific Coast Trail (it’s a good idea to pick
up a map on the way into the park). All of the trails to the beach
pass through a beautiful forest, or follow the meandering journey
of the Short Sands creek.
Popular with windsurfers and boogie boarders, Short Sands Beach
at Oswald West State Park is tucked a way in a secluded cove,
surrounded by the mountains. Here one can enjoy outdoor adventure
in a cozy and secluded atmosphere.
