Sandy beaches of Nehelam Bay
From Oregon kayaking to moonlight hiking on the dunes to simply enjoying the sunset, the outdoor activities available at Nehelam Bay State Park are sure to appeal to visitors looking for a relaxing Oregon vacation.

The serenity of Nehalem Bay State Park may be its most attractive feature, but there are many things to see and do. Oregon fishing and crabbing are popular on Nehalem Bay. Fitness and wildlife observation enthusiasts will enjoy the 1.75-mile bike trail that circles the park airplane landing strip, providing a jaw-dropping vista of the bay, as well as the opportunity to see deer grazing, a wandering herd of elk, a variety of migratory birds or the occasional coyote crossing the road.

For a change of scenery from the park, fine dining and local boutiques may be found in the nearby communities of Manzanita and Nehalem.
