Information on Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort:

Mt. Hood Meadows has long been renown as a skier's mountain -- offering a massive amount of terrain folded in and out of bowls and valleys on the sunny side of Mt. Hood.

For years, the Meadows has had the reputation of offering the best pure skiing in Oregon with distinctively original trails ranging from smooth, slightly graded runs in our beginner's area to screamin' steeps in Heather Canyon.

Although skiers of all abilities will enjoy Mt. Hood Meadows, the thousands of acres of intermediate terrain make this a great mountain for you intermediate skiers.

Take, for example, the Texas Trails, which offer miles of uninterrupted ride snow fields, voted by Oregon skiers as the best intermediate skiing in the state.

That's characteristic of the entire Meadows experience. A measure in extremes, from a ski school widely regarded not only as the best in the state, but a model for the industry, to snowcat skiing into Super Bowl -- incredibly advanced skiing that is truly on the edge

Cross-country skiers will find 15 km of groomed track, plus a complete line of rental equipment and instruction. The X-C Learning Center is at the Hood River Meadows parking area and is open daily Wednesday through Sunday.

And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down as Mt. Hood Meadows offers night skiing, with the Northwest's only night-operating, high-speed detachable quad, the Mt. Hood Express.

The Meadows also offers the best apres-ski with live entertainment throughout each week and dining establishments open until 10 p.m.

Mt. Hood Meadows is a big mountain, with a lot of character, high-speed technology, night life, friendly employees and the most meticulous grooming in the state.
