Nightskiing at Skibowl on Mt. Hood
Oregon’s Mount Hood is one of the state’s most popular family ski vacation destinations.  Located 65 miles east of Portland, this mountain features excellent Oregon skiing conditions and a number of 1st class resorts, instruction camps and ski clubs.

Resorts found on Mount Hood include the Summit Ski Area (the oldest in the Pacific Northwest), Mt. Hood Skibowl (the largest night-skiing facility in the country) and Mt. Hood Meadows (home of the driest snow in the Northwest).

Mount Hood is a great place to learn the ropes on the slopes, from Timberline’s summer ski race camp to the snowboarding lessons available at High Cascades Snowboard Camp and Mount Hood Snowboard Camp.

Those interested in finding out more about Mount Hood skiing opportunities should check out the Cascade Ski Club. Their meeting lodge is conveniently located on Mount Hood’s Government Camp.
