Shredding it at Hoodoo Ski Area
Hoodoo Ski Area is on federal land within the Willamette National Forest, located at the summit of Santiam Pass, in the Cascade Range, near Willamette Valley of Oregon. With the Three Sisters Wilderness Area to the south and Mt. Jefferson and Three Fingered Jack to the north, Hoodoo is unusually blessed with beautiful mountain scenery.

The Hoodoo Ski area contains more than 800 skiable acres, most of which rest on the mountain’s northern slope. There are 5 lifts servicing the mountain, which has a total vertical rise of 1,035 feet from the base to the summit. Visitors to Hoodoo can count on dry powder in midwinter and fantastic spring corn snow.

The Hoodoo Ski Area can accommodate skiers of various skill levels. Novices will enjoy the gentle, wide open runs of the Manzanita chair, while the intermediate to advanced skiers can test their skills on 29 challenging runs. Nordic skiers aren’t left out in the cold either thanks to 18.5 km of cross-country trails. For Oregon skiing at its finest, Hoodoo is hard to beat.
