Information on Yellowjacket Reservoir:
The lake and campground are at 4800 feet elevation. The lake covers approximately 34 surface acres and is 23-25 feet in depth. The area is a popular boating and fishing recreation site. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks the lake with rainbow trout. The lake is open for winter ice fishing and can be accessed by snowmobile when road access is snowed over.

From Hines, use County Rd 127 to Emigrant Cr. & Jct with County Rd 47. Travel north to jct with County Rd37. Travel east about 2.5mi to access road jct and follow signs past Turner Cabin to Yellowjacket.
