Strawberry Lake is located in the Strawberry Wilderness at 6200 feet in elevation. The lake is approximately 31 acres in size with a maximum depth of 40 feet. The lake is reached by Trail # 375 from the Strawberry Trailhead (1.4 mi). There is no charge for parking at this trailhead.

Directions to Strawberry Lake:

From Prairie City take County Rd #60 south for about 7 miles to Forest Boundary. Continue on Forest Rd 6001 for 2 miles to Strawberry CG and trailhead.

Dispersed camping sites are located around the lake. This is a heavy use area on weekends and holidays. Check with Prairie City Ranger District for current use restrictions at the lake.
