Information on Magone Lake:
Magone Lake is at 5000 feet elevation. Trail #352 is 1.5 miles is rated as easy. Horses, mountain bikes, and ATV use prohibited. The F.S. Campground has 17 picnic sites, 3 tent sites, 20 tent/trailer sites. User fee is $10/night. Water is available. This is a very popular camping and recreational area. There is a variety of wildlife, flora, and scenery to be enjoyed.

From Hwy 26 west of Prairie City, go north on Bear Creek Road, County Rd 18 for approximately 12 miles & turn north on Forest Rd #3620. Follow signs.
