Information on Anson Wright Park:
Anson Wright Park is one of two County Parks located on the way into the Heppner Ranger District. The adjoining campground is easily accessible, campsites are available, as well as restrooms and playground equipment. The pond is about 100 feet wide by 200 feet long with the deepest spot being 6 feet. It is a popular fishing spot. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks Anson Wright pond with Rainbow Trout.
