Overlooking downtown Tulsa
Situated in the oak-strewn countryside of the beautiful Green County Area, Tulsa is home to some great spots for family fun. The Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum was voted America’s Favorite Zoo, and Discovery Land! Park is the official home of Rogers & Hammerstein’s musical “Okalahoma” as well as the troupe of Native American dancers and the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association Ranch Dinner. There are a number of fine museums and Tulsa’s famed Art Deco architecture is evident throughout much of the city. When it’s time to eat, Brookside is the neighborhood where hungry visitors can find Tulsa’s best restaurants.

The Tulsa International Airport is northeast of down town. Tulsa Transit Metro buses run limited routes. There are a few old-fashioned inns in the Tulsa area, like the Victorian Inn, but motel and hotel chains are numerous. Tulsa is the home of Oral Roberts University.
