Norman is the home of Oklahoma University
and the beloved its beloved football team, the OU Sooners. Norman
is more than just a college town, though, and really does have
something for everybody. The whole family can enjoy camping and
sailing at Thunderbird State Park. Kids will love the nearby Little
River Zoo as much as the adults will enjoy the Thunderbird Casino.
History lovers will have lots to see in Norman. The Santa Fe Railroad
Depot is a Norman historical landmark and the Jacobson House,
featuring a collection of Native American art, is on the National
Historic Register of Places.
The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural
History features a huge collection of dinosaur exhibits and is considered
a can’t-miss OU attraction. |
