Old lock in Cuyahoga Valley Park
With a series of recreational and challenging forest paths, Cuyahoga Valley is one of Ohio’s premier outdoor destinations. Two major Ohio cities exist relatively close, but the Cuyahoga Valley remains well secluded and bursting with wildlife. Many of the trails connect to the north and south bound Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath, a former commercial jaunt that launched Ohio into early economic prowess.

With approximately forty hiking trails, four bike-specific trails, several equestrian pathways and even a scenic, historic passenger train ride, you can view these 33,000 acres of wilderness any way you see fit. We recommend early fall, when the Ohio air is crisp and clean and the foliage is vibrant reds and oranges.
