From the forested swamps of Blacklick Metro Park, to the winding trails of Three Creeks Park to the abundant Ohio wildlife in the fertile Battelle-Darby Creek Park, there are few American cities so fortunate in and dedicated to their wild places.
Battelle-Darby Creek Park:
This is the largest Metro Columbus park, and is home to endangered fish and mussels.
Blacklick Metro Park:
There are many excellent forest trails in this park, and a fascinating swamp preserve.
Three Creeks Park: This park is best known a hub for more than 13 miles of trails running along 7 different scenic Ohio creeks.
