The water and the shore line on the North Swimming beach is very quite and peaceful. The coastal line does not have many hotel rooms nearby, but you can get many, if you can travel a small distance. The only this is that you have to do prior reservation in advance of a trip, to avoid a situation like hoel booked, or reserved.
There are many activities that can be done near the North Swimming Beach. These are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking and boating. Ohio has a large number of things to offer beach lovers.

For those who are very much interested in camping, can set up a tent at one of the perfect campgrounds nearby. You can go to the West Harbor Trail, if you are very much interested in good hiking trail, and East Harbor State Park is the best place to stretch your legs and relax. You can find the Wetlands Trail, which is a glorious hiking trail near North Swimming Beach. The Middle Harbor is also very close to the north swimming beach. Missing a hike on the Blackberry Trail, would be your bad luck, and you can find East Harbor very close to the beach.
At the north swimming beach, you will find most visitors from Sandusky and Middle Harbor Shoal. During the summer, the temperature during the day time reaches at 80's, while it lowers to 60's in nights. During the winter, the temperatures rises in the ranges of 30's at the day time; while winter nights come with lows in the 10's to North Swimming Beach.
