Ohio, a mid-western state of the United States, is a combination of cultural and geographical features in North America. Ohio is considered to be a city rich in history. Here visitors find most ideal places for exploration. Not only a major business hub, it is one of the most popular destinations for enjoying excellent holidays.

The main attraction of Ohio State Parks is its natural beauty. This can be enjoyed through the recreational opportunities provided in the parks. The summer recreation includes 80,000 acres of water for fishing, boating and swimming, and there are lot many delightful picnic facilities in nearly all the parks. Most of the parks provide beautiful championship golf courses. The wide diversity of Ohio is reflected in her seventy-two parks and limitless outdoor activities they offer.

The Ohio beaches are neither wide spread with sand, and nor are they surrounded by large, natural dune formations. There are no real waves, palm trees, comical crabs, and no one to serve you rum drinks. On the other hand, there are no jellyfishes that would sting you, no sharks to bite off and none of those slimy sea cucumbers washing up on the beach.

The beaches of Ohio are divided into two categories: those on the Lake Erie and rest others. This categorization is not based on the quality of sand or convenience. These beaches have unbroken horizon that offer unending and seamless opportunity for contemplation.
